Men's A Cappella Chorus

We rehearse EVERY Thursday night from 7pm at the Choral Society Hall on the corner of Raff and Bridge Streets, Toowoomba. (see MAP here)

High Altitude were delighted to host, on behalf of Barbershop Harmony Australia - Sunshine Region, the 2013 Sunshine Region Convention.

 Gentlemen from 10 - 80 years are welcome to come and sing with the Toowoomba Region's Premier Entertainment Chorus.

High Altitude Harmony (HAH) is all about mates singing close 4-part harmony for fun but with a focus on continual improvement.  We value our sense of family, our camaraderie, and our commitment to singing and performing.  HAH continues to foster a reputation as the Toowoomba region's Premier Entertainment Chorus.

We do sing competitively and this is just a part of who we are...........

Updated June 2009 - On Saturday 30 May 2009 High Altitude Harmony competed in its first Sunshine Regional Convention.  We were delighted to win the Medium Chorus Size Category trophy and even more pumped to finish third overall behind The Blenders (Gold Coast) and The Clippers (Brisbane)

Updated October 2009 - In September 2009, we competed on the national stage in Hobart for the first time and were even more delighted with our results, having achieved 8th place in Australia, and winning the Audience Favourite Award.

Updated May 2010 - On 01 May HAH competed with 22 men in the inaugural Australian SingFest a cappella contest at All Saints Anglican College on the Gold Coast, Queensland.  We were delighted to successfully defend our Medium Chorus Size Category trophy and went one better to finish second overall to The Blenders in the Barbershop Singing section of the festival.

Updated May 2011 - After a successful build-up we again competed in the Sunshine Region Barbershop Singing Convention - this time at St Laurence's College Brisbane.  36 men successfully defended the Medium Size Chorus title and placed 2nd overall - a fantastic effort which was rewarded by us opening the Parade of Champions Show with a 6 song Show Package that evening.  Best of all we were only 32 points behind The Blenders.

October 2011 - We were one of 23 choruses competing in a Pan Pacific Competition with singers from Japan, Hawaii, New Zealand and Australia. HAH did a great job and lifted our Australian ranking from 8th to 7th and our average scores for singing, music and presentation by 2% We are Stoked!
